Tenth Launch Postponed as Engineers Troubleshoot Infrastructure, NASA and Mars Goals Await

SpaceX has postponed its 10th test flight of the Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket booster, originally scheduled for tonight at approximately 7:30 p.m. ET from its Starbase facility in Texas. The decision, confirmed in the final hour before the planned launch, was attributed to an undisclosed issue with the ground systems supporting the launchpad infrastructure, according to CNN’s Jackie Wattles.

This test flight, a critical step for the company, follows a series of explosive setbacks since January, when SpaceX introduced a new generation of Starship vehicles. The spacecraft has yet to achieve a fully successful flight since November 2024, with previous attempts marred by technical failure
