Kansas State football running back Dylan Edwards posted a statement on social media, saying he's received hate messages since he was injured during the first quarter of Saturday's Week 0 loss to Iowa State in Ireland.
Edwards was injured after muffing a punt early in the Wildcats' 24-21 loss. ESPN reported he had his left ankle wrapped before walking to the locker room. He was on the sideline with a towel over his head from the second quarter on.
The running back posted on X , formerly known as Twitter, that he is "disgusted and disappointed" in people who are sending him "hate messages."
