A small fire broke out in Rocky Mountain National Park, causing officials to temporarily close a trail in the popular Bear Lake Corridor.

On Sunday morning, visitors spotted smoke in an area above Mills and Jewel Lakes, according to a news release from the Rocky Mountain National Park on Sunday. The national park’s fire crews hiked and found a small fire near treeline.

It’s not clear what caused the fire yet, the national park said.
