WILLAMSPORT, PA (WFSB) - Fairfield National took fans from all around the world on a magical ride during the Little League World Series.

They had impressive wins against Texas, Hawaii, South Dakota, and Las Vegas before a heartbreaking loss in the United States Championship game.

This team kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

“It’s hard going from such a low knowing we were right there to win to playing in this game and waking these guys up at 7:30 this morning to kick start the tires and go hit the cage. But you saw it on the field today. It was fire,” said Coach Brian Palazzolo.

“It was so cool to see the crowd and see all the people on the hill and in the stands cheering us on,” said Joe Sorrentino, Outfielder.
