Boil advisory in effect for part of Eureka

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A boil advisory is in effect for parts of Eureka Sunday after a water main break.

Missouri American Water issued the advisory at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

It is for residents in north of Interstate 44 and west of Highway 109.

Officials say the advisory will be in effect for 48 hours.

Residents should boil their water for three minutes before using it for cooking or drinking.
