ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Tornado recovery is a long process, even for those who have private insurance.

The St. Louis chapter of the NAACP wants to ensure that residents are getting the insurance benefits they are owed.

The organization is hosting a community town hall on Monday night to help residents with insurance claims that have been denied or underpaid.

The Director of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance will be on hand to hear from homeowners.

The town hall is tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Luke Memorial Missionary Baptist Church on Finney Avenue.
