KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One person is dead in a shooting near 6th Street and Park Avenue near the intersection of Brooklyn and Independence Avenues.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday, August 24.

This caps off a violent weekend in the metro.

Police found a man shot multiple times and rushed him to the hospital, where he died a few hours later.

Police say an argument in the street led to his death, but so far, the shooter remains at large.

This shooting is one of three that took place over the last 48 hours.
