GARDEN CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Investigators are searching for an Ohio woman believed to be part of a well-known scam that has claimed at least two victims in Missouri.

Cass County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Aug. 22, indicate that Leslie K.M. Sellards, 42, of Columbus, Ohio, has been charged in connection with a well-known scam.

A probable cause statement filed by the Garden City Police Department revealed that in April 2024, a victim contacted law enforcement after they received a phone call from someone who claimed to be their grandson.
