ST. LOUIS — A 19-year-old man has been charged with second degree murder in connection with a shooting during a robbery earlier this month.
According to charges filed Friday, on Aug. 2, the defendant, Tyrell Pearson, of Florissant, set up a marijuana deal near the 5500 block of Hebert Street in north St. Louis.
Police said that Pearson and others met with the victim and forcibly stole the marijuana from the person, whose name wasn't listed in court records. Police said the victim was shot and killed at the scene.
Pearson has also been charged with robbery and armed criminal action.
