ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An explosion damaged at least 20 homes and left at least three people injured in the 3700 block of Candlewyck Club Drive in Old Jamestown on Monday morning.

Teresa Henderson ran outside after she realized something was wrong. A few doors down, a house was on fire.

“My home started shaking,” she said. “It took a lot of things down inside the house.”

A woman who lived nearby on Evan Aire Drive told First Alert 4 that her dog was killed in the explosion.

Spire told First Alert 4 that they have crews in the area and gas is shut off in the area. They said there were no issues with gas-related infrastructure on the street.
