KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - An 18-year-old has identified himself as the suspect in 9 armed robberies that were reported in Kansas City.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Sunday, Aug. 24, indicate that Zykire K. Robinson, 18, of Kansas City, has been charged in connection with a string of armed robberies at Kansas City businesses.

The probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that just after 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 9, emergency crews were called to an area business with reports of an armed robbery.
