SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Many volleyball matches have been played at the Sanford Pentagon but there are some new additions with this tournament.

First are the video boards that are lined along and around the court, fans in attendance will also get light up wrist bands that will go along with the music that is playing at the time.

Finally one addition that will affect the actual gameplay is the use of an automatic line judge system.

Matt Ulmer, Kansas’ new volleyball coach said, “Yeah so what’s cool about this first serve tournament is AVCA uses it to kind of test things out we’re kind of the guinea pigs in this tournament to see if there are things we should use in the future maybe in the final four or what best ways we can present our game.
