MARY MCCLENDON

Mary McClendon is the new fund development director for the Yuma Community Food Bank. Her role is to work with leadership and the community to make sure that the food bank has the resources needed to thrive in its mission to address hunger and food insecurity in Yuma and La Paz counties.

“My work is about building relationships, sharing our story, and connecting people who care with opportunities to make a difference,” she said. “This can range from managing social media accounts, to planning the annual gala, coordinating fundraising campaigns, recognizing the amazing staff and volunteers that bring our mission to life, and writing grant proposals that bring in vital resources.”
