The Pakistan Army led relief operations are underway in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan to assist communities affected by floods, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
In K-P's Shangla district, the army launched prompt operations in the remote village of Rajsham to evacuate flood-affected residents.
In collaboration with the Ayesha Foundation, flood relief and medical camps were established to provide immediate assistance to displaced families.
Relief packages including rations were distributed, while army doctors conducted medical examinations and provided treatment to those in need.
In addition, the army assessed damaged bridges and roads, and carried out aid activities at the affected school in Bagh Nasimabad.
