A Brooklyn man was charged with robbery, assault, and grand larceny for allegedly attempting to steal two vehicles last week in an incident that ended with an NYPD officer being shot by a fellow officer, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said that in separate incidents on Friday morning, 28-year-old Kevin Dubuisson attempted to carjack multiple people and assaulted a driver.

Dubuisson faces nearly 32 years in prison if convicted of the dozen charges he faces. An attorney for Dubuisson couldn’t be reached for comment.
