ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. —

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office has reported that a search is underway at a river on Sunday.

They say it happened at Sadlers Creek. Deputies say they got a around 5:30 p.m. for an unoccupied boat circling on the water. Latest Forecast

Deputies say their Marine Unit and deputies are all responding and believe the boat at one point in time was occupied.

This is an ongoing search, and the South Carolina Department of Resources will lead the investigation.
