BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) -- One person has been seriously injured following a motorcycle crash in Bristol Sunday evening, police said.

At about 7:55 p.m., Bristol Police officers received a call of the crash near Burlington Avenue and Cindy Lane.

The seriously injured person was taken to a local hospital for treatment and officers anticipate the area to be shut down for a few hours.
