ARLINGTON — It was hot and stuffy Sunday in the concourse outside the Guardians’ locker room at Globe Life Field where the postgame interviews were taking place.

Not quite as hot as the 94-degree temperature outside the Rangers’ domed ballpark. But certainly, hot enough to make it uncomfortable for a pitcher who had just thrown 90 pitches in 3 1/3 innings in another critical loss for the Guardians.
