Many companies have worked to be more environmentally friendly, but according to USA Today, its list of the best eco-friendly hotels have gone above and beyond to be more environmentally sustainable.

One Colorado hotel made USA Today 10Best's recent list of the most eco-friendly hotels that have earned certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) by the U. S. Green Building Council or other industry awards in sustainability.

Viceroy Snowmass in Snowmass Village ranked fifth on the list. According to USA Today, the hotel is LEED Gold-certified and 30% more energy-efficient than similar traditional properties.
