LOGAN – City officials here are advising motorists and hikers that a stretch of Canyon Road and the adjacent trail will remain closed on Monday, Aug. 25 and Tuesday, Aug. 26.

As it was last week, Canyon Road will be closed to through traffic from the vicinity of Herms’ Inn to the Utah State University Water Laboratory.

The adjacent trail will be closed from the vicinity of Herms’ Inn all the way to the midpoint of the pond at First Dam.

Those closures will be necessary to complete the installation effort of a storm drain line that was begun last week for the First Dam Tank & Pipeline Project.
