Pulaski, PA - Joining a trend spreading across the nation, fans held a "Mrs. Roper Romp" in Pulaski.
The Mrs. Roper Romp Facebook group has amassed 85,000 members across the U.S. and just under 150 members in the Mahoning Valley branch alone.
The group is dedicated to hosting gathering events where each member dresses as Helen Roper, a character featured in a popular 1970s comedy show, "Three's Company," and later starred in a spin-off series, "The Ropers."
Helen Roper and her lookalikes are easily identified by their flowing Caftans with bright, vibrant colors and patterns, large jewelry and their iconic red curly hair.
On Sunday, the Mahoning Valley Mrs. Roper Romp group headed to Nova Cellars at 2 p.m. to get together and celebrate their beloved icon with cocktails in hand.
