MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two local Madison friends turned golfers are celebrating a major accomplishment, after golfing though at least one course in every Wisconsin county.
Former Wisconsin sports broadcaster Ken (Syke) Psyck and co-worker turned close friend Wayne Woock, began golfing together back in 1980.
But it wasn’t until 40 years later, that an idea came to mind that would far outweigh the others.
“There’s a neighborhood in Madison, the Hill Farm neighborhood, where many of the streets are named after counties," Psyck said. “I was walking there about five years ago, and it was during the pandemic, and I thought, ‘it’s kind of sad we’re not gonna be able to play golf during the pandemic.’ That’s when the idea hit me. ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to play 18 holes of golf in every Wisconsin
