DYERSVILLE (KWWL) -- After a four year hiatus, Major League Baseball is set to return to the Field of Dreams in 2026. The Twins and Phillies will face off at the iconic Iowa venue according to The Athletic's Dan Hayes and Matt Gelb.

The game will be the third major league contest at the field, but the first to be played at the permanent stadium currently under construction and on schedule for completion next year. The Yankees and the White Sox were the first to play at the venue in 2021, with the Cubs and Reds the following year. Both were played inside a temporary stadium set-up that was torn down following each game.
