UPDATE: The Maine Department of Public Safety says Michaud has been located and is safe. This update came in at 10:23 p.m. on Saturday, August 24.
PREVIOUS DETAILS: Maine State Police on Sunday, August 24, issued a Silver Alert for a missing Skowhegan man.
Michael Michaud, 71, of Skowhegan, who authorities say suffers from cognitive issues, left his home on Russell Road on foot.
Authorities say he is a white male, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes, and was last seen walking on Russell Road wearing a long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and L.L. Bean boots.
