‘Playing is a big commitment’ – Cork student on how wheelchair basketball helped him during recovery from devastating accident

On May 20 last year, Rory Motherway was driving to a Gaelic football match when he was involved in a life-changing car accident which left him with paraplegia.
The Cork student was 19 years old and was looking forward to summer, having just finished his first year studying mechanical engineering at Munster Technological University.
