CHICAGO (WFIE) - Baseball can be a streaky game sometimes, and right now, in Major League Baseball, Southridge grad, Colson Montgomery is wielding a hot bat once again!

The Holland native had a huge weekend, hitting three home runs -- one each day!

On Sunday, he hit a 2-run big fly, in the White Sox 8-0 win over the Twins.

On Saturday, Montgomery really came up clutch, cranking a big grand slam, as the ChiSox downed the Twinkies, 7-3!

Colson began his big weekend, Friday, by going 2-for-5, with his third homer of the weekend, in the Sox 9-7 opening game loss to Minnesota.

For the entire weekend, Montgomery went 5-for-13, with 7 RBI, and those 3 dingers. For the season, he now has 13 bombs, along with 36 RBI, and a .230 average.
