SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The San Diego Strike Team Task Force is being deployed to help firefighters in northern California fight the Pickett Fire.
The Pickett Fire, which has burned more than 6,000 acres in Napa County, was only 11% contained as of Sunday evening, Cal Fire reports, and firefighters from across the state were being deployed to help battle the wildfire, following the recent mass deployment due to the severe weather and thunderstorms.
San Diego Police confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI Sunday evening the San Diego Strike Team Task Force was deployed to Napa and Sonoma counties to assist with battling the fire.
