STELLA – A Stella resident received first-degree burns during a house fire Saturday night, Calloway County Fire-Rescue said.

According to CCFR, Calloway County 911 Communications Center dispatched firefighters at approximately 9 p.m. to the 4800 block of KY 121 North in the Stella community for a report of a structure on fire. Initial reports from 911 callers advised this was a shop that was fully engulfed in flames at the time CCFR was sent.

“Upon our first units arriving on scene, they found the shop to be also lived in by the owner, who was out of the structure walking around at the time of our arrival,” said CCFR Public Information Officer Lt.
