LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The valley continues to deal with a dip in tourism as data from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority revealed an 11 percent drop in visitor volume this summer.
Some tourists blame high costs and have even taken to social media to share their frustrations. For example, one tourist went viral for complaining about a $26 bottle of water in their minibar at the Aria.
8 News Now spoke to tourists Caitlyn and Max Laney, from Scottsdale, Arizona, who visit Las Vegas at least once a year. The Laneys said they’ve noticed things are more pricey than they’re used to.
