Sunday storms hit the southeast and northwest parts of the valley with lightning and dropped up to .16" of rain near Henderson, a little less near Summerlin. A cluster of storms packing lightning and heavy rain fired up over San Bernardino County early this morning and is sliding north. But the storms are losing energy and power as they reach Clark County. Chances for stronger storms will come this afternoon and evening. Temperature highs will likely stay below 100 degrees.
