Lin Chin-Tse tossed five one-hit innings and knocked in three runs, and Taiwan won the 2025 Little League Baseball World Series with a 7-0 victory over the U.S. champions from Las Vegas, Nevada in the championship game Sunday in South Williamsport, Penn.
Lin had the big hit of the Tung-Yaun LL team's five-run fifth inning to give the team quite a bit of insurance. After three consecutive one-out walks to load the bases, he cleared the bases with a triple to left.
On the mound, Lin took a perfect game into the fifth inning, and faced the minimum over his five innings of work, erasing a one-out single with a double play to end his outing. Chen Qi-Sheng pitched the sixth inning for Taiwan, working around a pair of hits with a double play and a flyout to end the game.
