MITCHELL, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Washington County emergency crews recovered a body after a boating incident on Sunday, according to officials.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says Department of Natural Resources officials recovered the body of a missing boater around 4:30 p.m.

Earlier in the day, crews responded to the 4900 block of Hamburg State Park Road in reference to a boating incident with a drowning.

Two other victims, who were stranded in the water, were also recovered. They were transported to Washington County Regional Hospital for treatment, according to officials.
