AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Many aspects about sports are impressive to fans and players alike, but the ability for an athlete to step away and pick up where they left off, is something rarely seen.
Carolina Blouin was six-years-old when she began playing tennis in her home state of São Paulo, Brazil.
Eventually taking her to the collegiate level, which came with a leap of faith.
“I was an athlete and I didn’t want to just go to college, I wanted to experience college tennis in the United States,” said Blouin.
At 18, Blouin landed in Rock Hill, South Carolina, ready to start her career with Winthrop University.
