President Donald Trump and Maryland Governor Wes Moore hurled insults at one another on Sunday (Aug. 24) after Trump reiterated his threat to send the National Guard into Baltimore.
During a recent speech, Moore suggested , “If President Trump were to walk our streets, stand with our people, and visit our community, he would see what I see: One of the greatest cities in the United States of America.”
He urged Trump to keep Baltimore’s name “ out of his mouth .”
This led to Trump firing back at the governor on Truth Social .
“Governor Wes Moore of Maryland has asked, in a rather nasty and provocative tone, that I ‘walk the streets of Maryland’ with him. I assume he is talking about out of control, crime ridden, Baltimore? As President, I would much prefer that he clean up
