AUSTIN, Texas — A motorcyclist is dead after a collision Sunday night in Del Valle.

According to Austin Police Department (APD) Watch Command, the collision happened between a motorcyclist and another vehicle just before 9 p.m. Sunday at Pearce Lane and Alomar Cove.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle died in the crash, but they have not been identified at this time. Two people in the opposing vehicle survived.

It's unclear what led up to the collision, and no additional details are available.
