Police in Blantyre have arrested two people suspected of stoning and leading violent acts during the TNM Super League match between FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Karonga United on 10 August at Kamuzu Stadium.

The suspects have been identified as Paul Majawa from Ndirande Township and Edward Chilabade of Mbayani Township in Blantyre.

Detective Sub-Inspector Willard Matupa of Chichiri Regional Police Office confirmed the arrests, adding that more suspects are expected to be apprehended. The two are scheduled to appear in court later today.

Meanwhile, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga has declined to comment on the matter.
