GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Interim University of Florida President Kent Fuchs’ contract is almost up and on Monday, the board of trustees meet again with leadership on the agenda.

After meeting virtually last Monday without an update on their presidential search, Monday’s agenda indicates the board will be talking about leadership.

The Florida Board of Governors rejected the board of trustees’ nomination of Dr. Santa Ono. Since then, trustees have kept their search quiet, only confirming last week that it’s still ongoing.

Interim President Fuchs’ contract is up on September 1.

The meeting will be at Emerson Alumni Hall starting at 11 a.m.
