LINCOLN, NE (WCJB) - After a humbling loss on Friday night to Stanford, the Gators shocked No. 3 Pittsburgh in a five-set thriller after Taylor Parks and Alexis Stucky set up the finishing kill for Jordan Byrd as the Gators swarmed the court at the AVCA First Serve Showcase.

Ryan Theis earns his first win as the Gator head coach and his first win over a Top 25 team this year.

Byrd led the Gators with 23 kills, and Stucky recorded her first “double-double” with 44 assists and 11 digs. Jaela Auguste finished the day with a team-leading four aces and eight blocks.
