An 18-year-old Lehigh County man was pronounced dead Sunday night at the scene of a crash, authorities said.

Cole D. Hausman, of Weisenberg Township, died in the crash at Route 100 South and Lyon Valley Road in Lehigh’s Lowhill Township, according to a news release from county Coroner Daniel Buglio.

He was the driver of a vehicle that left the road, traveled down an embankment and and struck several trees, according to the release.

Hausman was pronounced dead at 10:36 p.m. Sunday, the release says. He died from blunt force head injuries due to the crash, and the manner of death was accidental, the coroner said.

Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville and the coroner’s office are investigating the matter.
