SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Zoo just announced they gave families impacted by the July Fourth flooding free tickets to the zoo worth over half a million dollars!

“The success of this effort reflects the power of Texans helping Texans,” said Tim Morrow, President and CEO of San Antonio Zoo. “We are grateful to every guest who supported the campaign. Their visit will provide an opportunity for thousands to find some solace with a complimentary visit to San Antonio Zoo. Our thoughts and prayers remain with those affected, always and forever.”

More than 20,000 complimentary zoo admission tickets were donated to flood-affected families, volunteers, and first responders as part of the Zoo Cares: Together for Texans campaign.
