A tractor-trailer caught fire Monday morning at a Hallandale Beach business, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office Fire Rescue.

It happened just after 9 a.m. in the area of 310 West Ansin Boulevard at a business called Safe Truck Parking, authorities said.

"A concerned caller reported a tractor-trailer on fire across from the location," according to fire rescue. "As firefighters began arriving, they observed heavy black smoke visible throughout the area." NBC6

There was a second tractor-trailer close to the one on fire, and additional units were dispatched to try to contain the flames.

Using water and foam, about 30 firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 10 minutes.

Crews are still working hotspots inside the property, fire rescue said.
