ALEXANDRIA — Lakes Country Academy, a service of Lakes Country Service Cooperative, is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new location, 1204 34th Ave. W. in Alexandria, on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 3 p.m.

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is a public, nonprofit, membership-based organization located in Fergus Falls dedicated to providing services that help make its members successful. Originally it was created in 1976 to provide services to pre-K through 12 education, but has since grown to provide innovative programs to cities, counties, and other governmental and nonprofit agencies.
