OSAKIS — There could be a little cell-shock when school starts in Osakis on Sept. 2.
That’s because the school board has expanded last year’s “pocket to locker, locker to pocket” policy to all grades and lunch hours.
“We'll expand the same policy that affected seventh through ninth grade and junior high lunch to senior high lunch and all of ninth through 12th grade,” says Superintendent Justin Dahlheimer. “Devices can come in the building, go to [students’] lockers, stay in their lockers, and leave the building. They can't be out at any point during the school day.”
