More than 500 fans packed the Northern College Athletics and Wellness Centre on Aug. 23 and Rock Solid Wrestling didn’t disappoint.

While there were new champions crowned during the event, the big winner was Community Living Kirkland Lake, the beneficiary of the evening’s proceeds.

Kirkland Lake Towing teamed up with Rock Solid Wrestling to support the local charity, with dozens of local businesses and hundreds of fans in their corner.

The event, titled Shake The Lake, featured several bouts of professional wrestling action, including two championship contests, which saw new champions crowned, sending the rowdy crowd and Community Living Kirkland Lake home happy.
