LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - The Kentucky Football team has reportedly made a decision regarding who will start at quarterback in their season opener on Saturday.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Zach Calzada will take the first snaps against the Toledo Rockets.

The Incarnate Word transfer threw for 3,744 yards and 35 touchdowns last season.

Kickoff is set for 12:45 p.m. on the SEC Network.
