MAUI, Hawaii (Island News) -- A memorial fund for the fallen Maui Officer Suzanne O is now accepting donations to help support loved ones during this time of grieving.

The Suzanne O Memorial Fund is intended to keep her legacy of selfless service alive. Officer O will be honored and remembered after the tragic shooting at the old sugar mill in Paia on the night of Friday, Aug. 15.

This fund and the SHOPO Benevolent Fund are currently the only official ways to donate in remembrance of Officer O. The Maui Police Department (MPD) will release more information if online donations become possible.
