BUFFALO, N.Y. (KTRE) - Former Central Heights Blue Devil Duke Ellis had a hit and drove in two runs in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s 5-3 win over Buffalo on Sunday.
The 27-year old got the start in center field and batted ninth.
Ellis went 1-for-4 with two RBI. In the seventh, Ellis doubled into right field to bring in Jeimer Candelario and Braden Shewmake to tie the game at 3. It was the 14th double of the season for Ellis and his 22nd and 23rd RBI.
The RailRiders return to action at home against Syracuse on Tuesday.
