A farmer from Zhoda says they were hit by frost overnight.

Konrad Narth, who is also the Member of Parliament for La Verendrye, says the temperature dipped to -1. Narth says he has had confirmation of frost in Vita as well.

"Very disappointed to wake up this morning to frost in Zhoda," says Narth. "Throughout our pocket of southeast Manitoba, we got a very concerning frost last night to the point that it put ice in pails and turned the lawn white."

Narth says he is growing 600 acres of soybeans this year, which are in a vulnerable stage right now. With the plants just developing the seed, this has him concerned.
