TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Court TV) — Wendi Adelson took the stand against her own mother in a dramatic day of testimony as Donna Adelson stands trial for allegedly orchestrating the murder-for-hire of Wendi’s ex-husband, FSU law professor Dan Markel .

Wendi testified that her mother was deeply involved in her divorce from Markel and became upset when a judge ruled against moving Wendi’s children from Tallahassee to South Florida.

“My mom was really upset,” Wendi testified. “My mom thought my life in Tallahassee wasn’t good.”
