The governor of California has launched a website selling parody Trump merchandise in a jibe at the president.

Gavin Newsom’s Patriot Shop contains goods imitating Trump’s campaign slogans including MAGA-style ‘real patriot’ caps.

Items include’Newsom 2026′ mugs in the style of the Trump 2024 campaign logo and vests with the message ‘Trump is not hot’.

Taking to X, the Democratic politician said he had already shifted more than $100,000 of merchandise.

The store’s website showed it had sold out of copies of the Holy Bible, all signed by Newsom, selling at $100 each.

Other bits in the range include ‘Don’t poke the bear’ stickers and a red cap with the words ‘Newsom was right about everything!’ Launching his line of products, Newsom wrote on social media: ‘The Patriot Shop is now open!
